Not even wrong

Yesterday was a full day. Went swimming at Bagara, the water here is so warm! Went to the library and borrowed a few books including the above mentioned title. Went to the botanical gardens and the "zoo" here which has some native animals. Started reading not even wrong last night and couldn't put it down, all about autism, synaesthesia, history, physics, Asperger syndrome and a family's discoveries. My kinda book! Been reading another autism book today and playing sims.

Great Barrier Reef

Yesterday I went on a full day trip to Lady Musgrave Island on the "lady Musgrave" that my sister is a cruise guide on. It was 3 hours trip over there, then we had an awesome lunch! Then we went ashore for a tour of the island. After the island which we went to and from in glass bottom boats we went in the semi-submersible boat so we were right in the coral reef. It was awesome! The next hour was spent snorkelling with the fish right beside the reef. The water was sooooo warm and clear.

Bundaberg

I am well and truely in Bundaberg now. It is hot and muggy and i'm scared to walk barefoot outside cos of the snakes, spiders and cane toads and are all poisionous. Why payt to go to a zoo? This place is teaming with wild animals! At the moment I am reading the latest novel my dad has written.

Hi ho hi its off to Queensland I go!

I leave Dunedin early tomorrow morning and I won't be back until the 29th of January. I am going to Bundaberg to see my family. I am also spending some time checking out Brisbane as there is a distinctly high possiblility that i'll be over there next year doing my PhD. I just joined YHA. It's a pretty sweet deal, $40 for the year which includes a $5 yabba card, $5 off one hostel stay, around $3.50 off each night in a hostel, Kathmandu summit club membership, heaps of discounts and a map. Just booked a night in the Brisbane city YHA. looking foward to the trip, all the sun, surf and fruit!!!
