Crazy Ape!

I've just been playing with one of these! It's a remote controlled ape! So cool! Can move its head, mouth, eyes, eyebrows, make lots of ape noises! So cool! Scott and I were doing Crystal's experiement in Brent Allsop's lab and Scott was first so I was playing with the ape while I was waiting! Why doesn't my lab have any cool toys like that? Mind you most of the toys in my lab are for kids and babies!

I have this guy's phone number!

Yes it's true. Scott Gave me his old cellphone and i've just set it up with a plan for myself. We were deleting Scott's contacts but leaving the people I know and he said "you know Tim, Tim Foley". He was Scott's son in law! So yeah, interesting the people we know!

Life....but not as we know it!

dum de do! Well i'm at work and it's incredibly quiet, hardly any students. Spent the first hour of my shift in the library and now i'm in Burns. Not many people, no real problems and not much help wanted. Was in the library for the 2 hours before my shift talking to Scott who was working. He was getting bored and scribbled all over the sheet were we record the number of people we helped. He did it in pencil which was fine, 'cept I wrote "Scott waz here" with an arrow in pen. Later rubbed it out, but try as he might he couldn't rub out the pen and it's still pretty obvious the sheet was scribbled all over. He also got all nostalgic and looked up Jeeps, twinkies, ho hos and guns. Gene was frustrated that his (and my)really cool idea were were gonna do and get published has already been done by some punks at Harvard and UCLA!Ah life as a TS! Less shifts this week cos of the apparent holidays (I don't get holidays!). Scott went off to the vet but did qualify after I laughed at him that is was for the kitten's shots and not his! Here is a picture of them!

My life is a musical!

I am a Jellical cat, if I was ever to believe in reincarnation this would be a compelling reason! God on high Hear my prayer In my need You have always been there What's going on around me Is barely making sense I need some explanations fast Everybody's playing the game But nobody's rules are the same Nobody's on nobody's side Better learn to go it alone Recognize you're out on your own Nobody's on nobody's side When I was nine I learned survival Taught myself not to care I was my single good companion Taking my comfort there Up in my room I planned my conquests On my own - never asked for a helping hand No one would understand Pity the child who has ambition Knows what he wants to do Knows that he'll never fit the system Others expect him to Close every door to me Hide all the world from me Bar all the windows And shut out the light Do what you want with me Hate me and laugh at me Darken my daytime And torture my night If my life were important I Would ask will I live or die But I know the answers lie Far from this world See my eyes, are they safe are they even sane? Are they warm when they seem to greet you? You don't know, you can't tell, but it should be plain These are eyes that are gonna beat you I don't care if you're a champion No one messes with me I am ruthless in upholding What I know is right Black or white -- as you'll see I'm on the case Can't be fooled Any objection Is overruled Yes I'm the Arbiter and I know best If I speak, I am condemned. If I stay silent, I am damned! Who am I? Can I conceal myself for evermore? Pretend I'm not the man I was before? And must my name until I die Be no more than an alibi? Must I lie? How can I ever face my fellow men? How can I ever face myself again? My soul belongs to God, I know I made that bargain long ago He gave me hope when hope was gone He gave me strength to journey on I don't know how to love him. What to do, how to move him. I've been changed, yes really changed. In these past few days, when I've seen myself, I seem like someone else.

19 is definately not 20!

I hate school/undergrad holidays cos I can't test participants cos schools and Kindy's are closed, I can't tutor students and there are less SCS hours available!Guess i'll spend a lot of time in my office writing!I reckon people should look up facts before they post their heatedd replied on work forums cos then they are liable to have their incorrect comments noted to them on the forum for all their colleagues to see! Yes I will be the first to point out to an antagonist that they are wrong! 99% of the time I bite my tongue and don't tell people they are wrong, cos apparently that is the tactful thing to do. With some people they have lost the right to get any tact from me. Don't mess with me, you'll come out worse off! Hmmmm imagine what I am like when I have no inhibition? (Some people don't need to imagine it!)The BVPS is a little outdated I think, maybe I should revise it, along with the testing methods employed at this university and many educational institutions around the world. Is that netballer pregnant? (watching TV while writing). Ah life is such a conundrum.

Our favourite albino!

Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code has made Opus Dei famous and they have been having more membership inquiries than ever before in history. Gotta, for all the faults of the movie in comparriosn to the book, it did make Opus Dei pretty appealing, almost makes me wish I was Catholic!

Why 12?

Kindy is so cool! Hanging out with Tom, Jay, Holly, James and Cameron, I understand them! Kids are awesome!!! I highly recommend them! Adults, don't recommend them at all! Everybody experiences God in a differnt way, but can God really be just how we understand him? Is God black and white or grey? If he's grey then my life is screwed!Scott you rock, thanks for the phone, and everything!Tangents are cool, cos is trigonometry and mathematics rocks! Geology also rocks! Haha Jay made a joke today and it was actually funny! He may be a little terror but he was actually quite cute at times today! Those of us with superiority complexes will rule the earth! Aspie poetry is like totally absolutely positively awesome! As Steve says, "St John never had an ambulance" and I have decided to quote it to those who incorrectly put 's on the end! Beware!!! The urge and temptation to produce a cathartic effect to hard to overcome! Stupid screwtape!Sorry yeah God created ya, I know!

Yeah whatever, it's just life!

Yeah so um Bones finished but now we need to wait on a cliffhanger? I always took my school for granted but I guess it was okay, rich, academically good, top of the entire country for music, 'spose I should be thankful for that. The musicals were awesome, sure I was overworked, stressed and depressed but I miss that stuff like nothing else! Can you really get anything better than live shows, awesome music, theatrics, lighting, sets, costumes, makeup. This world was not created for me, so it's essential to live your life as though you're on the stage live all of time time, cos there is no other way to survive. This is just the shadowlands and mostly it's pretty dumb. Maybe Earth was just one of God's early attempts and his real masterpieces are out there somewhere. Sure it's okay for a rough draft. Screwtape is doing the job he was created for, just seems the free will things has been taken right to town by the masses so we all just end up being hypocritical morons with little understanding of the things that really matter in life. Sure lets persecute the human swho have actually tried to steer us back in course; Jesus, Luther, Bunyan etc Why am I stuck in a world with ejits who don't even believe dinosaurs roamed the earth? Yesterday a colleague tried to tell me that if the masses believe something happened in history in a certain way, then it did regardless off facts. No! If Star Trek never actually had the phrase "Beam me up Scotty" than despite the masses believing it, close examination of the empirical evidence show that they are categorically wrong! Why go for the grey when the world is so clearly black and white?

AA is better than church!

I was suppossed to go to kindy today but it was snowed in so I went to uni instead and did stuff like data entry. Funny sight this morning, was at St John HQ and saw some ambos throwing snowballs at a window, then one came in with a massive snow ball just as the CEO came around the corner. She stammerd trying to explain herself and I cracked up and said "Ha you got caught!" After she went off very embarrassed the CEO exchanged a laugh with me. Man division racked last night! Woo Hoo! Wish my favourite ADM had been there though! :) This morning I saw one of the signs which say "No skating" but some punk had changed the N to a G. Naughty but none the less amusing!

It's my regional youth manager!

At Nationals which were held last weekend the male contingent from Southern region wore kilts to the formal dinner. John here seems to be showing off possibly a little too much? Got back this evening from Regional Managers conference, John was wearing trousers this weekend!
